How to be the favourite sibling on Mother’s Day

Looking out for any excuse to one-up your siblings? Give mum something other than a candle this mother’s day.

.

Put them out of their thoughtfulness game by packing a blanket, thermos of tea, and some goods from a local bakery. Take mum out for a picnic lunch and finish off with a glass of wine at a creative class, then frame and hang what you created. It’s the sophisticated version of your finger painting portrait on the fridge, with all the thoughtfulness and love of your macaroni necklace. Best thing is everything is easily accessible and there’s no shipping for the creative workshop, so it’s great even for you cheeky last-minuters.

Any workshop will be a great idea, these are currently available:

  • 12th May Floral Ink Painting
  • 17th May Pressed Flowers
  • Any time, pick up from Cronulla, original artwork.
  • Contact me if you are interested in other dates/classes. I am available for a class at your home or at a studio, great for a whole family to get involved, young and old alike

.

Read more about the options by clicking the link. Public workshops are held at the Mindful Studio in Cronulla, NSW, and tickets can be purchased through the link. Pro tip: chip in with the partners, bros, sisters, and make it a family event. Pro-er tip: if you know a new mumma, buy her two tickets and let her take a friend while you babysit.

.

All classes are suitable for non-creatives. If this will be the first time you or mum have touched a paint brush, don’t stress, I will guide you through a fun and relaxed afternoon.

.

If you would like a beautiful ticket to physically give to mum, here’s one you can print. P.S. It’s just for show, you’ll need to actually purchase a spot to attend.
